The BACR Project aims to connect people who have supplies with people who do not. It constructs a network of donors, drivers, and organizations. Donors review our list of highly needed items and place their offerings on their doorsteps. Then, volunteer drivers pick up the donations and transport them to local organizations, who distribute them to at-risk communities. For more information or to sign up, visit www.bacrproject.org.
Vietnamese American Non-Governmental Organization Network’s Mission is to lead effective collaborations and strengthen the humanitarian, cultural, and development work by delivering capacity-building workshops to underserved communities. We have built capacities for community-based organizations, schools, families, and youths around public health issues, developmental concerns, and environmental initiatives.
COVID19 pandemic strike in the heart of communities, especially the underserved communities near and far. VANGO Network has stepped up and launched our own efforts to address the shortage of personal protective equipment in community clinics, among first responders, and in hospitals. We have utilized donations from families and friends to purchase gloves, KN95 masks, hand sanitizers, and face shields to push to community clinics and first responders in the USA. We also are assembling COVID19 care kits for poor families in central Vietnam.
Nailing It is the operation supported by suppliers and vendors of the Nail industry coming together to send donations to over 70 recipients on the frontline of COVID-19: hospitals, clinics, police departments....
Traveler Surf Club is a retail shop & surf club located in Malibu & Pacifica, CA. We have pulled our resources together to manufacture face masks in local factories for healthcare workers, grocery store workers, delivery drivers, and others on the front line. We do not have N95 masks, but our masks are substitutes to protect those active in the community and not in direct contact with Covid-19 patients (helping to free up N95 masks.) Our loyal customers have helped donate funds to help us manufacture the masks and we want to be sure they get into the hands that need them the most.
Founded on, inspired by, and existent because of the vision and efforts of MoCo Mask Makers, the Makana Project’s mission is to mobilize and empower individuals in the fight for public health through education, advocacy and the distribution of free handcrafted protective wear.
Makana is the Hawaiian word for gift, reward, or donation. It also signifies the act of giving or donating. It is common in Hawaiian culture to give a gift when visiting someone’s home. The act of gift giving exemplifies the “aloha spirit,” which is founded on mutual respect, taking care of one another and reciprocity. It is in this spirit that The Makana Project continues MoCo Mask Makers’ mobilization of caring individuals who donate their time and effort to make protective wear for those in the community who need it.
Operation Make is a non-profit community of volunteers across the nation helping make and donate 3D printed PPE supplies (Ear Savers, Face Shields) to Healthcare facilities in need.
