The BACR Project aims to connect people who have supplies with people who do not. It constructs a network of donors, drivers, and organizations. Donors review our list of highly needed items and place their offerings on their doorsteps. Vietnamese American Non-Governmental Organization Network’s Mission is to lead effective collaborations and strengthen the humanitarian, cultural, and development work by delivering capacity-building workshops to underserved communities. We have built capacities for community-based organizations, schools, families, and youths around public health issues, developmental concerns, and environmental initiatives. COVID19 pandemic strike in the heart of communities, especially the underserved communities near and far. VANGO Network has stepped up and launched our own efforts to address the shortage of personal protective equipment in community clinics, among first responders, and in hospitals. We have utilized donations from families and friends to purchase gloves, KN95 masks, hand sanitizers, and face shields to push to community clinics and first responders in the USA. We also are assembling COVID19 care kits for poor families in central Vietnam.
